I think I’ve shared enough ugly vacation photos of me at this point!
Here’s a just-for-fun post dedicated to NOT-ugly vacation photos (aka, the majority of them – because we DID go to three of the world’s most beautiful cities, after all)…

Trent in Picadilly, before our rock n’ roll tour of London.jpg

Night tour of the Tower of London.

Night view from the London Eye.

The glorious Saint Chapelle.

Lisa on the Île de la Cité.

Lovers and the tower.

In the Paris catacombs.

Oh boy; we’re at the Hofbrauhaus!

The magnificent view atop Zugspitze in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Winner! Not the best (that goes to the little cafe on Rue Daguerre in Paris), but definitely still delicious and WEIRDER THAN HELL! Bonus points for originality, Germany.
Okay, okay – so there were some obvious challenges with me taking this vacation and maybe I didn’t feel super awesome while we were there, and maybe I still don’t, but as you can clearly see…
It sure was fun anyway!

Obviously, there’s more; see all our pics of European Vacation 2016 here.
Incredible! You have always had a knack for taking photos of exotic people, places and food. One day I think you will find yourself in National Geographic, just as you always thought you would. I am sorry that you didn’t feel better, but I am glad that did not diminish your enjoyment of the sites and sounds and tastes you experienced. We all get to live vicariously through you, so thank you. I have seen parts of this world I would never know existed. (And the London Eye is totally freaking me out!)
The grandparents enjoyed the travelogue! Gotta know if that is meat and cheese on that plate of food in Germany! Good for you!
It’s JUST cheese. A very odd cheese plate with caraway seeds, horseradish jelly, cayenne pepper…. I don’t know. German food is WEIRD (and good).
[…] The last time I saw Kim was in her now-hometown of Munich, and I guess I just can’t imagine “going over the hill” without her. […]
