Bloominent

BLOOMINENT.

That’s a new word I’ve coined to describe a plant in a state of “imminent blooming.”

This is the African Violet Trent’s grandmother gave me.

I’ve been REALLY yearning to see it bloom. She has a MILLION of these blooming all over her house (yes: one MILLION AFRICAN VIOLETS), and though it’s not the first violet I’ve received as a gift, it IS the first one I’ve successfully gotten to bloom. Or, the first one I’ve successfully graduated to “bloominent.”

There’s some good plant mojo goin’ on at 3675 these days…
